10/1972 : Bought by his former driver, Alex Soler Roig (Spain), when he decided to retire and stored the car during 20 years.
1992 : Restored in 2013 in France by Yvan Mahe
2008 : Bought by a French person, Jean Marc Merlin
2009: Sold in Germany to Chris Stahl
2010 : Sold in Belgium to Marc Devis
2012 : Sold in Belgium to Thierry de Latre. The 1971 Spa 24h livery has been done.
2016 : Sold in Belgium to Gipimotor and restored with a new RicWood engine.
Some sources suggest that the car could also have been taking part to the Nurburgring race in 1971 (11 July), 2 weeks before the Spa 24 hours. During this race, Stommelen (comfortably leading) had an accident. But it’s likely that thecar has been repaired as it was a minor accident.
The car is ready to race to the Peter Auto Championship (HTC category) and in the most Historic meetings in Europe. A new engine has been putted in the car, made and built by RicWood, engines specialist in UK. The FIA HTP is up-to-date and available on request.
